GUy down the block was changing his oil today..i was looking at his frame and man when you see the parts where they are welded toghether all you see is rust corrosin...i always hated that about my old 250R..goes to show you that some things never change...i think craftmanship on my Raptor is top notch...the honda is only 2 years old..looks like big doodie! and you have to love that underbelly prtotection too..and the non removeable one piece subframe..so if you bend your rear bar you bend your frame..

yup i hate to admit it but that is being petty. i love my raptor to death but there are known issues with em and i hope they make good with 2001 owners and or fix the problems with the 2002 model so i can trade up and take it up the heine from the dealer when they screw me on the trade in.

I'm with rraptorr13. I have a friend with a Raptor who races MX. I have ridden his Raptor, but just don't care much for it. Plus, I'm partial to Honda. Every machine has it's flaws, some more than others. Both the 400EX and Raptor are good bikes. Different people just like different machines. Me, I like my 400EX. Like I said though. It may not be for everyone.

the 400ex subframe is removeable..... but yea that is pretty crappy how theres no "removable" grab bar.
