I was thinking of dropping in a midrange-type cam in my raptor. I don't want to do alot of engine mods right now. Is anyone running a different cam with the stock piston? What kind of power gains could be made? I have a Sparks full exhaust and a pro-flow filter.

You will probably loose some HP and Torque on low end and gain in mid range and top without the piston change. With a piston change too, power should be gained everywhere.
You have the Sparks exhaust, call those guys and ask which cam grinds would benefit you the most on your particular set-up!
By the way, have you experienced a carb(s) popping off problem with your modified ride? What size are your pilots and what are your carbs idle circuits set at (turns out)? Later.

My carbs blew off once when I let a friend take a ride. That was several rides ago and hasn't happened again. I'm running the stock pilot jets. I have the fuel screws set at one turn out from the stock setting, but I don't remember the stock setting.
According to the sparks web site they don't have a cam ready to sell yet. Pam at Powroll e-mailed me and said that there is only a tiny loss of low-end with their mid-range cam and it isn't really noticeable unless your running big tires in mud.
