I read in the instructions you are not supposed to use aerosol filter oils to oil the pro flow filter. What is up with that. I want to try Maxima Fab 1 but i am not sure why they have this warning. Can anyone tell me why ? Also what is everyone else using on the pro flow foam filters. I have used Maxima FFT, but it is hard to get it even all across the filter.

The reason I'm thinking is it is hard to get the oil completly into the filter using spray. The best way I've found is to dump the oil on and work it in and squeeze out the excess. I know its wasting alot of oil, but its the best way to get the filter fully oiled. I use a paper towel to make sure I'm not leaving in to much. Unless the spray has some reaction to the glue I just think they are looking to make sure it get oiled properly. I'm not impressed with the filter, but the billet piece is nice.
