Hey mtecate4g. In your post you stated that the maire grill is hideous. Where did you see it at? I can't find pics of thier raptor plastic anywhere on the net.

 

I saw them in person. A guy i know has a black n white and he got the white front so his is all white now. I wouldnt say it is hideous but one of the main things that makes a raptor a raptor is the grill. If yah know what i mean.

 

yep, i agree. the maier grill is "hideous". i cut mine out and put in wire mesh. the stock grill does give the raptor it's evil look. however, i DO like the maiers plastic now. they made a dramatic improvement in quality and quality control w/ this new stuff. actually, i much prefer it over the factory stuff. it is tough, fairly dense and rigid, and won't freakin crease like the blue crap. fix the front grill pattern and they are THERE. later.

I noticed your swingarm isn't stock, if you don't mind me asking what brand are you using? Is it +1, +2 ? I recently have some new found power and NEED a +2 swingarm, so your help would be appreciated!

My swing arm is a lonestar +1. It actually is 1.5 longer than stock even though they call it a +1. I think it is plenty long. any longer and i wouldnt beable to pull wheelies. Unless your into drag racing only i would go +1.

 

Does anyone have a picture of the maier front grille??? I Just ordered a set of both front plastics and wanna see what they look like!!! thanks
