Ok first of all there is no way that with just piping and tweaking the jetting of a Raptor you are going to get some "upper 40s rwhp" by the way a Raptor makes around 52 hp at the crank.Second of all i listed some of my mods in my last post so you know in a general way what was done to my Shee. You were the one that posted the fact that it was cheaper to get a Raptor to 50 Hp than it was to pipe a Banshee so i assumed that since the Raptor makes around 52 hp at the crank than you were obviously talking about RWHP.Last of all dont beleive everything you read in the mags especially the adds part...

You know what ahppens when you assume. And what stock Raptor makes 52HP at the crank????? And where can I get one? Also it was not an ad in the magazine, it was an article about some company building an aftermarket Raptor.

I am sorry dude but its a well known fact that a stock Raptor makes 52 hp at the crank and 38 hp at rear wheels and that a DS650 makes 55hp at the crank and around 40 at the rear wheels i did not assume i am just well informed.

Damn that 27% loss from the engine to the wheels. I dont know if "well" informed would be what I would use to describe you.... But seriously, someone agree with me here, it even says on the title to my Raptor 43.8 HP.

I am sorry dude but if your Raptor only gets 43.7 at the crank then you bought a lemon,if you dont beleive that a Raptor makes 52 hp at the crank then just ask around dude. You ever heard about mobiledyno.com you might want to take a good look. And yeah you lose about 25% when you test it at rear wheels dude and i must emphasise at "about 25%" this aint accurate by any means.

Dude, I wasn't disagreeing with your RWHP #'s for the Raptor dude, just the 52HP at the crank dude. And Duuuude, I have heard of mobiledyno.com dude and those #'s don't tell you the HP at the crank dude, which is where we disagree dude. Cars don't even lose 25% through the drivetrain, let alone an ATV that only has a chain and some sprockets to get to the wheels.

GET THE BANSHEE.Yes I rode both in stock form, I like the banshee better so I bought it.

FACT IS: Dollar for Dollar you will get more power from a banshee than you could ever get on a raptor.

Ok kiddo if you dont beleive that a Raptor makes 52 hp at the crank i dont care. But a 25% loss of hp from the crank to the rear wheels is damn good just ask any engine building company "Ford,Ferrari,GMC,BMW you name them" so you obviously dont know what you are talking about.I should have known that a kid that beleives that you can get a Raptor to make 50 RWHP for 500$ must be an ignorant so i shouldnt have responded to this post. Now get back in bed cause momma is going to spank you if you dont. Obviously I need to repeat things for you because you can't comprehend them the first or second time I say them. (I'll put it in caps so maybe u will get it this time) I NEVER SAID THAT YOU CAN GET A RAPTOR TO 50 RWHP for about $500. You still don't understand that a Raptor is around 44 HP at the crank stock. With a full exhaust and proper jetting you can get it to over 50 HP AT THE CRANK which will be in the 40's on a dyno.

Also... I think it is well known that with cars, a 15% drivetrain loss is what most people use as a general guage. I recall reading that the book "Auto Math" referred to a 15% loss as typical. And as for your personal attacks on me and my "momma", thats just childish and you obviously shouldn't be the one calling me "kiddo".
