Almost any banshee is worth that much. Even if it's trashed you can sell the 6 good parts left on it and get your money out of it.

yeha that is such a great deal for a 96. be careful it may have bottom end damage with the crank and all. but even if it did have a blown bottom end it would still be worth it!

also make sure it is a 96. i doubt it is. he probably slapped some 96 plastics on to fool you. check the numbers out.

i would say buy it if it is above a 1994. you will have a good deal.

Yes that's an awesome deal. I've been looking for one for that cheap I'm getting one. It is a 1988 Yamaha Banshee. Motor: Bored .30 over, Wiseco pistons and
rings, new crank , cylinders have been ported, head has been milled. All new
bearings and seals throughout the whole motor. Carbs have been rebuilt and
new tops put on to eliminate the throttle overide. New Barnett clutch . new
shift shaft and rod. Motor put together and set up by Baldwin Motosports
(nationaly renowned and local to us). new j-arms and bushings. New
aftermarket tie rods. new pro design air filter system with outerwear.
motofast two into one pipe and silencer. new D.I.D o-ring chain and
sprockets. new swing-arm bushings. reworked rear shock by Baldwin
motosports. new Douglas Blue label .190 rear rims with new Titan Turf Tamer
tires. New Fly bars, DG nerf bars, New throttle cable. New brake pads all
the way around. So that costs 2500. So yeah it is a good deal.
