I have tightened the end nut on my steering shaft, and i now believe that the play (small amount) is actually coming from the tie-rod ends!!! Yamaha should cover this under warrinty? NO? And, are the ends known to wear out and have play so quick? can i tighten em....note, it's not the nuts on the tie-rod ends i think it may be actually in the joints. Is this normal? thanks

This is a very normal problem. Lots of Raptor owners don't even know they have it. Checkout Moto-Man or similar, order 12 bronze a-arm bushings ($ 5.95 each)for the Warrior (the same as the Raptor) and install. This will fix your problem. If money is tight then just order 4 and install on the upper a-arm, this is where your problem really is. You might have to order new sleeves from Riva if your sleeves are worn. Check out the diagrams on Riva's site for more clarification. Re-post if you have any questions.
