Ever since i bout my raptor ever time i would look at the plug on it it was all gray witch is very lean. well i also could only beet my casuins DS it i got realy luck. So the other day i was getting my raptor ready to race it at royal mountain and i desided to adjust the cabs so that it was to get more fuel so that it would run ritcher.
So what i did was take the top of my carbs off and removed the neadles from the slids. Then took that clip from that neadle and moved it down one noch. Witch would pull the neadle out of the jet a little more and feed it more fuel. I also took the snorkle off the air box lid.
Well last night my caus and i went to a friend house and on the way home we desided to race. well it was all up hill. we didnt start from a dead stop but he started pulling away then i shifted to fith gear and put it to the and caught him and passed him like nothing. He was so pissed of that i spanked. I said what did u expect you raced a real machine. His ds also has a one tooth down on the rear sproked thats why he beet me but he cant any more. when he had stock gearing i could some times beet him it all depended on who came out of the hole first. my raptor is all stock with just the carbs adjusted corectly and i can know spank him.

Bansheeman, were you the black and white Raptor at Royal Mountain?? I'm guessing you were because there was only one Raptor there. If so, I'm the guy that was talking to you about my Raptor and the mods I have done. If thats not a coincidence I don't know what is. Anyway, I almost cried when the two 400EX's got the holeshot in the first race. I think I'm gonna enter the race next week, win the holeshot and then just pull off the track.
