Well the title pretty much says it all. The creek was alittle deeper than i thought about 4 foot deeper. I have never done this before so i need some tips on getting her dry again. Any suggestions would be great.

pull the plugs, turn it upside down, get all the water out ASAP!! water and bearings do not mix!
with the plugs out I would turn the motor over slowly a couple times to get the water out. I would then flip it over and turn it over a couple more times to get the rest of the water out.

drain the oil (even if it is just for the trans).
replace the oil in the trans

Pull the air filter, clean it up and/or replace it

drain the gas tank if you think you got water in it (which is a possibility)

I would then flush the gas tank with some gas and drain it again.

once you've gotten out as much water as possible you need to get the shee started to get oil/gas mix down to the crank bearings before the water does damage.

I would first put some gas/oil mix down the plugs holes, then install new plugs... now you have to get that water logged beast started. some ether might help.

Once it starts let it idle for a while, that will heat it up and steam out all the water.. I would let it idle until its warm, cool it off, then repeat a coupe times..

check the oil in the trans one last time to make sure it's not milky..

Just my $.02
Brad
