Go with the K&N, will you be trail riding? Going through water or mud? Get the outerwear for the K&N and take off the gooseneck. Also you can drill six 1" diameter holes in the top of the box (not bottom; too expensive to replace) and they make filters for those holes too. more air = rejetting.... don't forget. gl

Why not for $50 more than the over priced PRO FLOW get a complete aftermarket air box? The PRO FLOW filter barely fits in the stock airbox. It actually touches the sides and bottom of the box so you only get a partial advantage. Youll atleast know the thing is sealed compared to the stock junk setup but if your after performance gaines go with a complete air box setup. Plus another advantage of the after market box is the outwares lid they come with. Breathes as good as a unlidded box but is extremely water proof. I washed my quad when i first got the airbox and took the lid off and there was a puddle of water on top of the out ware lid! none went inside at all!! After seeing thati was amazed. Trust me on this you will be happier. Dont mutilate your stock box.

the reason i didn't get a hole new box is because the one's i ve seen didn't
have lids. and in the winter you need a lid to keep from jetting. also there
is a big difference between the price of the pro flow and a new alm box. not
i can't afford the box just didn't see a need. the engine will only take so
much air and iam sure that this kit will be MORE than enough.. i ve seen v8
with smaller filters.
