No idea where you can find a case saver for the Banshee. I own a Warrior though and I'm interested in hearing more about your friends Warrior. What year was the quad and how did he fix it after it happened? Did he have to buy 2 new case halves or 1? does he have a case saver now? Let us know. Thanks.

I had that happen to my shee. The chain wasn't closed perfectly (the clip wasn't in its groove), and the chain slammed the case. It's broken, right above the sprocket...but it was a just a piece of aluminium...it acted like a case saver (in this case, more like a carb saver). It broke 6 months ago, and I left it this way (no hole in the case)...I just have one chance. I should reweld it, but I would need to take everything out...so it'll be for this winter!!
It sucks, caus now, if the chain breaks...I loose the left carb...ouch

HIS WARRIOR WAS AN OLD CLUNKER. IT WAS THE FIRST YEAR THEY MADE THE WARRIOR AND IT LOOKED AWFUL. IT PUT A LITTLE HOLE IN HIS CRANKCASE BUT HE JUST WENT THE CHEEP WAY AND PUT SOME JB WELD ON IT AND IT'S WORKED FINE EVER SINCE.

There's a guy that lists one made of Nylon or some other industrial plastic on eBay every once in a while. His opening bid is usually around $40. It looks pretty well made too.

zorro., it happens to almost everyone that has a banshe what has happened to you. happened to me. i just cut the piece that broke off with my dremel. every banshee my friends have is already cut cause their chain flew off. i wouldnt even spend the time to weld it all back together unless your nuts.

I'm not nuts, but I might as well reweld it...this winter, I will change my top end, and check in the same time rod/crank bearings seals. Since my dad has a mig welder, I can do everything myself...
