Ok. I busted the warrior. While i was out breaking it in the starting curcuit realy switch got ripped off. I called up the stealership and told them to get me another. I got plugs and i hooked them up. (had to look at another 87 to get the wires right) IT would not start. After test after test everything checked out. Then just messing around it started this way.

Key on
Motor on
Press and hold the start button. (still nothing)
Pull the revers Lever back
NOw it turns over. PLease help me!

 

Sounds like a bad ground to the starter, starter switch or relay.

 

NO the starter has a good ground and also has a good starter silioniod. I ordeder the starter relay and i got a new style one. The new warriors have 4 wire to the relay switch and the old ones have three and a loop. Am i right here? I am getting used to starting it in reverse.
