Air screws 4.5 to 5 turns out. that is the factory settings. yet when i go to look it up in here evryone says that the right carbs gets the bigger jet? whats the deal here?

If your sitting on the quad it's the right carb that gets the bigger jet.
Also, 4-5 turns out on the mixture screw is too much. Try 2.5 to 3.0 turns out.

where didi you purchase your bke? I got mine from stumpys in Neptune.they are the ones i called. I knew something wasn't sounding right. I spoke o the mechanic too!!!!! Are you sure about this? this all started wheni went to change the jets. i have a dynojet kit but i am going back to stck for now..then when thats fine i am going to try to jet up again. what mods have you done to your bike? Do you ride in Chatworth? We should go riding when i get this bike dialed in..

I got mine from Jersey sportcycles in Lodi. Yes, I'm sure if your sitting on the bike the right carb gets the larger jet. I also have the dynojet kit,
FMF powercore 4-2 silencer, Uni air filter with flaps cut out of the snorkle and a 2.5" hole in the airbox lid. With the dyno jet kit I'm running 4th clip position on the needle and 148 main in the left and 150 in the right 3 turns out on the mixture screw ( I think stock is 2.5 turns).
If I were you and you know everything is OK inside the carbs.
If you don't have any holes in the airbox lid. Do this:
Needle 4th position down from the top, 146 main in the left and 148 in the right, air screw 3 turns out. If anything you may be a little rich.
I've been to the Pine Barrens many times I thing that's part of Chatsworth, right? Chatsworth is the LEGAL riding area down there I think.

Either of you guys go riding in the Meadowlands? That is in my backyard. Let me know, it's pretty close for you both.

Never been there ridin. What's it like and how illegal is it?
I usually go to the Pine Barrens or up to PA. I wish we had some legal riding in the state. Let me know if you guys want to meet up. I'm always up for ridin in new areas.
By the way joeyd what did you end up doing with your ride???

By the way you did say you have the Dynojet kit right?
The settings I recommended were with using the Dynojet kit.
Just so you know. Later
