The Experience
#1
Well I got my first taste of a Banshee today. I can honestly say that was the scarest atv ride of my life. The guy who owns the quad made sure I "Experienecd" all of the Banshee's power.
He told me to get on the back, so I got on. Well, he takes off slowly, so I'm thinking not to bad. Then he nails it and shifts into 2nd, I slid off the seat onto the grabbar and the front wheels come off the ground. He isn't done yet. I manage to pull my self back on the seat, then he shifts to 3rd and the same thing happens. Well I was ready for 4th gear, and I was able to stay on the seat. When he shifts to 5th my eyes closed, from the turbulence of my glasses. (On my Arctic Cat 500 my eyes don't close till my speedometer reads 55 mph) He didn't get a chance to shift into 6th gear because the stip of land was only about 85 yards long.
He did let me ride it alone. I only got into 3rd gear but when the power "hit" I almost fell off. Then I had enough. I went home and check pants (by the I didn't find ANYTHING).
I can now say that I will hopefully never own a Banshee. If you ask why, it's because I would kill my self on it.
P.S. This was a totaly stock bike excepet for 3 things: Me, the owner, and a dent in the front bumper (not from me).

I don't see how you could ride it in the woods, it's hard enough in the middle of a field. When the powor band kicks in it gets scary to say the least.
