Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I refuse to have someone else work on my toys!

Try doing a search on the subject. I even printed out the directions somewhere on somebodys website right after I purchased my Raptor in May. My dealer told me to have it done at 30 hrs and he would charge $40.00 for that service. I let them do the first time since it is still under warranty. The raptor has to be pretty much stripped down so you can get at the valves. For me it was worth it to have them do it. Chet

SpdRcr, I do all the valve adjusting on the Raptors. It can be done in about 30 minutes after you have done it once or twice. Do you have the right size feeler guages? If you do bring them to the dunes this week and I will look over your shoulder to get it done. I have some guages but not the best ones for the job. If you do not have any see if you can get some from Central. I have the OEM shop manual.

Check out www.raptorzone.com. They have an article with some pictures to walk you though it. It helps to have some of the Motion Pro angled feeler gauges to check the clearance.

If you want to take a look at a "How to Adjust the Valves" on your Raptor before you go to the dunes and meet up with RAptorRRC, take a look at this site under "How To"
