Hey, I bent the axle on my Kodiak today, just a slight bend, is there a way Ican straighten it, I heard if I turn it around and put the bent side in the casing that would help. Any suggestions, and if I need to take the axle off, how, and also how to I take the hubs off?

THANX

I bent my axle on my 2000 Wolverine. To fix it completely it cost me $90 dollars. Most of the cost was replacing all my bearings and seals in the rear end. I bent the axle in the housing and bent the rim also. I hammered out the rim and took the axle to a local harley/honda bike shop. They had a press that they straightened it for $22. They told me that they can usually take 99% of the bend out of it. I put it all back together and not a problem with it. I was impressed that they fixed it. Ask around at your Local bike shops to see if they have a press to do that type of work, not all shops have that.
