I know this sounds stupid...but I fell 3-4 times...and got hurt 3 times. 2 dislocated shoulders and a bruised back.
Yesterday, I was just coasting down a hill (not even steep) when the front wheel caught in a rut. The shee did one rollover. I fell off, it did roll over me...but when I got up...my left shoulder was dislocated...WTF? I was riding 2mph!!! Abd the day before I had cleared a nice double that the 5 other present people didn't dare to try...
Is it always the same? Do I really have to get hurt when falling off the banshee? I've had enough of dislocated shoulders! IF this is the way it has to be...then I've had it with ATVs, and I'm getting back to dirtbikes!

From what I hear, you can get hurt more riding a quad than you can a bike. Plus, once you dislocate your shoulder, it'll get dislocated much easier after that - which means, even if you go back to a bike, you can still dislocate it when you fall off of it. Are you wearing a chest protector? Mine has saved my shoulders several times, AND my back!
And I'm getting old!

I guess I have been lucky, no broken bones yet. I do remember when I got my first quad that when I was going around a corner I would want to stick my foot out like you would on a dirtbike. I learned real quick not do to that. Its a good way to get a broken leg or ankle. Chet

I rolled an FL350 completly over and back onto its wheels in a race, hit the gas and still came in second. In another race, I cart wheeled it for nearly two complete flips and was just a bit stiff. I have seen a couple people take pretty bad wrecks in Drakarts before without getting hurt. One guy was doing about 90 across 3 foot whoops (I did not say he didn't deserve to wreck), caught one wrong and flipped end for end several times. He did not get hurt. I would say except for his pride, but I don't think he has any.

I went from bikes to a Banshee to the Odysseys and now the Drakart.

I did not switch to the Odysseys because of being safer, but they have been a lot safer. When riding at the dunes, I feel better knowing that there is a roll cage between me and the next moron going the wrong way over the dunes.
