wolverine axle: gettin really mad!
#1
Ok, I have bent my Wolverines axle 3 times.Im know on my 4th and it at the shop.Every time it was on jumps no more than three feet. everytime it was cover under warenty, until now when I just got off the phone with the dealership and they said yamaha wont cover it. now it's going to cost me around 500 bucks to get a new one. so i called up yamaha and they said and I quote, "It's not made for sporty riding or that kind of riding, you must be abbusing it to much, and we have never had a problem with our axles." Come on! ive had to hondas that ive beaten the crap on and not had a thing wrong.and on this machine ive treated so much better.atvs are mad to be abused(to a point).Ive already spent around $600 to get it hopped up and i cant really aford the axle now.I love the machine but im mad at the service. It make me mad that yamaha won't help out considering it not really my fault.

Wow, sorry to hear you are having so much trouble. I too have a 99 Wolverine and have yet to have that problem and i am a 225lb rider. I have hit some jumps(3-4feet) and have never had a problem yet(knock on wood). Have you looked into a aftermarket axel to see how much it will cost? I am kinda courious how much they run..Hope you dont have anymore probs.....Herbert
