Did you guys all trade in your banshee on a raptor?

I have not seen too many posts about banshees lately.

I am looking at a 2001 shee for about $4000. Is this a good price. Would you buy a raptor instead. I can get a 2002 raptor for about 6400. Any banshee guys have any thoughts.

I had a 93 shee and had to sell her a couple of years ago and now want another quad bad. I will be buying in a couple of days. I like the raptor, but I also like the shee.

banshee guys what you think?
Thanks

The banshee guys are out riding, when the Raptor owners are in complaining j/k
You can't compare a shee and a Raptor. If you buy a shee, it's because you want a machine you have to master, that has downsides...and a engine to die for.
You get a Raptor when you want something "fast", reliable, user friendly...too perfect to be challenging.

I loved my banshee.. i love it to pieces.. literally.. a couple times.. lol

great machines.. mine ripped my raptor a new one..

My Banshee specs:
Big Bore 420 Trinity Kit
Trinity MX porting
Delta V-force 2 valves
Trinity Head
Trinity SUper light pistons
Alba Airbox lid
Heck I can't even remember all the mods, but the damn thing flew..

I sold it all, I got tired of:
Rebuilding the top end (it was probably over built which caused failures)
Pushing... I mainly trail ride, and I'm getting lazy, I wanted reverse
Kicking... I love hitting a button...
Not knowing when it was going to break again, 3 times in 2 years is too often (every time it was a piston failure)

Is my raptor as fast? Nope, not close, do I have more fun now.. yep.. which is all that matters to me...

Ride what you love
love what you ride
Have fun with it..

Peace
Brad
