01 Grizz and type of engine oil

I just picked up a 01 Grizzly on friday and broke it in a little this past weekend. So now I'm wondering what type of engine oil would be best? I've asked everyone I know and some say to use Mobil One, the dealership says to use yamalube because of clutches and stuff. I didn't think the clutch on the Grizz would be affected by oil?!
The Grizz is almost due for it's first oil change and any info would be a help.

Ok then, I made a bunch of calls to all kinds of people yesterday to find out what's up with the different types of oil (conventional, synthetic, automotive and motorcycle). Mobil was one of the companies that I called and I got to speak with a technical person so I picked his brain.
Basically what it boils down to is if you have a wheeler or motorcycle that shares the same oil to lube the engine and the gearcase then you want to use motorcycle oil (whether it be conventional or synthetic)that doesn't have antifriction modifiers. You wouldn't just dump automotive engine oil in your trucks transmission would you?? So motorcycle oil is a better lubricating oil with a higher shear factor and viscosity rating and wont foam up like regular automotive oils would.
Some wheelers have seperate tranny fluid and engine oil so it would be fine to run just automotive oil in those engines.
I also called a bunch of Yamaha dealers and got there views on whether there is or is not a wet clutch setup on the Grizz. If you look at an exploded parts list for the Grizz there is no wet clutch. The centrifical clutch anlong with the drive clutchs are external.
Either way if it's internal or external you should use motorcycle oil in the Grizz because it does share the same oil to lube the engine and gearcase.

WALEXA, Since you own an explorer and used to own a grizzly i thought you might be able to help me. I currently own an explorer 400 and am thinking of buying a used grizzly for a second machine. How would you compare the suspensions to the two and also any help as far as what year grizz would be a good choice any help would be great.

Can you prove to me that it does have a wet clutch, cause I've seen parts diagrams for the clutches and gearcase from yamaha and it doesn't show any clutch inside the gearcase.

That diagram doesn't show the division of what is inside the crankcase or outside. Don't trust me though......print out that page, and take it to an experienced Yamaha service department......they'll tell you that clutch runs in oil, and is inside the engine case.
I don't want to be haughty here......I could be wrong.......I would like to know the truth in the matter. Let's work together to find out for sure which way it is.
