As much as I hate to say it, my Banshee-Owning days are drawing near the end. I have decided to put it up for sale, and need some help pricing it. I want to get close to what its worth, but I need it to sell quickly. Here is a picture of it. The ONLY thing wrong with it is the seat cover is torn up pretty bad. It looks really trashy with it ripped, but I might replace it. I guess I should type out the mod list too:

AC Racing Alloy Bumper with Mudscreen, Lonestar Racing +2+1 Powdercoated A-Arms, Works Performance Dual Rate Shocks with Threaded Preloads, K&K Grooved front Radials, Renthals, Pro Design Kill Switch, AC Racing Alloy Nerfs, Boyesen RAD Valves, Renthal Alumni-Lite front and rear sprockets, Renthal R-3 520 O-Ring chain, ITP Holeshot rear tires, Maier Black/Red Shaved Plastic(I cut them), CEET Graphics w/CEET Gripper Seat, Cascade Billet P-Brake block off, FMF PowerCore II Silencers, Stock Head Pipes, All bearings have been replaced this year(2 races old), A-Arms MIGHT have 3 hours of riding on them.

Bike is in extremely good condition.. I am very proud of it, and it has drank nothing but 93Octane and Klotz SuperTechniplate since I've had it. Motor runs great, and I'm replacing the chain adjustment tomorrow. The front sprockets aging a little, and will need replacing sooner or later, and the seat's torn. Those are the only 2 things I know of that are wrong with it. So, if you were selling, what would you ask, and if you were buying.. What would you give? Thanks alot guys, this is greatly appreciated.

Maybe I'm crazy... But does $4000 sound about right? I have asked around, and alot of my riding buddies agreed that it is pretty close to what its worth.

From what I have seen $4000 does not sound to bad. You might want to put it up on ebay and set your reserve with the minimum you would take and then see what happens. I have seen some going for quite a bit.

My 2 cents

loanstar,

If I were you, the first thing that I would do is replace the seat cover. A $60 investment could mean a couple hundred bucks somebody would be willing to pay.

For a quick sale $4000 might be a bit high, but if you find the right person they may go for it.

Personally when I was looking for a Banshee I was looking for a stock one, and I kind of shyed away from the modded ones. However, like I said, if you find the right person you are all set. Plus, by the looks of it all of your mods have nothing to do with the engine, so that's good.

If you want to try to sell it quick then put it up on ebay. If you want to get $4000 for it then hold onto it and advertise it. I'm sure you could get close to that as soon as the right person saw it.

Take care,

-Josh
