Honda didn't kill the 250R because of smog. L A W S U I T S!!!

Yamaha only kept the Banshee because it turned bucks for them, not because they support any form of racing for ATVs.

If Honda and Suzuki hadn't killed their 2 strokes, then I'm sure we would have seen some Banshee updates over the years. It hasn't had any competition for the longest time. Like the Corvette. Who can compete with it? Only that Dodge Viper, but it isn't in the same price category though. I never understood why Ford didn't try to make a competitive model. They always had the mustang, but it was fighting with the camaros and Trans Ams. Losing in the performance area to the Camaro, the Poor Mans Corvette!

Good point about the Honda and Suzuki Bikes. But don't kid yourself about the Corvette it has alot of competiton besides the Viper.

That picture of the banshee with the fourstroke motor in it would almost look sort of real, exept that there are 2 and four stroke pipes on it at the same time.

Yes, I know. If I try to take the stock Banshee pipes all the way out there is a gaping hole in the machine. Looks really dumb. Some of the aftermarket Banshee pipes look a little odd. Pretend its an auxilery gas tank, don't know! While we are nit picking, you can see part of the stock YZ400 frame behind the motor. It covers up part of the stock Banshee motor. I can take the YZ frame and the Banshee pipes out, but trust me, it looks worse.

I really thought about putting my 490 motor in the Blaster when I blew it up. How did it turn out? That bike is extremely fast and the Blaster is small and light, I think it would kill even the most highly moded Banshees and 'Zillas in drag races.
