if you can run amsoil at up to 100/1 verse most oils at 32/1 would not the amsoil give your bike more power due to getting more gas instead of oil into the mix would like to here your thoughts on this

Amsoil is the best oil I have ever used. I run it in all my machines, and I used the two stroke oil in my LT. I ran it at (66.7:1) premix. All the guys I ride with use it, in more than a dozen machines. It burns right, no fouled plugs, longer life in the top ends (even the race machines).

The actual benefit of using less oil, and getting more gas, is negligible. You could oil your chain and get the same benefit of power I bet.

If you want to ride more than fix, use Amsoil, it hasn't let me down yet.

Same here! Amsoil is the only way to go. We have 2 YZ250's and have used Amsoil always. The 1990 YZ250 has never had a problem. Either has the 1998 YZ250. My son and I use 7 ounces of the Synthetic Series 2000 2 Stroke Racing Oil to 3 gallons of gas for the perfect cooling and lubrication mixture. This is a 54.85:1 ratio.
