I have a Blaster and I am not going to tell you to get it because it is up to you to decided. If you want quick snappy power I would go with the Blaster if you want a great reliable four stroke with reverse I would go with the 300EX. You would have to ride both to see what you want. Either way the are both excellent machines.

Blueblaster, Just to let you know Mojave also is a four stroke with reverse. The only problem is that it is a kickstart. the 300EX is a fourstroke and it has reverse and electric start. I have riden with a blaster. I followed it around a field and when it was hitting the bumps it looked like a toy. I rode it around in the woods and I really didn't like how the powerband kicked in. Maybe I have just been spoiled by my fourstroke. Also I thought that the suspension was not very plush. It was rather firm. I didn't really trust the brakes, but maybe I have yet again been spoiled by hydraulic(sp) brakes. Personally I went with the 300EX and I am very pleased with my decision. If you only had a certain amount that you could spend I would get the Blaster. But I really don't like the Mojave I have never ridden one but they look like my 1988 Suzuki Quadsport.

Go with either a Mojave or Blaster. The 300EX is ok, but when the battery goes dead, your screwed. The Mojave is just as fast or faster than a 300EX. It also has liquid-cooling which is also a plus.

Just to let people know I left my key on overnight and in the morning I just pushed the button and it fired right up. If your battery does go dead just bump start it (push and pop clutch).

Yes the Blasters suspension could be described as firm. Even harsh. But so what? That seat is just for looks anyway.

I personly like the snappy 2 stroke. 4 strokes just seem really flat. Even good ones, like the 400EX. They seem kinda lazy, even if they aren't. Good for a ute, but for sport riding/racing I'll keep the 2 stroke

If you want an easy to ride trail cruiser, a 300EX is a nice choice. But if you are more concerned about going fast, and spending the money you saved hopping the quad up so you can race, buy a Blaster.

The Blaster has good front brakes, but the rear should be hydraulic.

The Mojave is about as fast as a 300, but I don't think it handles as well.
