Has anyone seen that Banshee in the Feb. issue of Dirtwheels? It is some crazy modified turbocharged banshee that did like 111mph in the 1/4 mile. That like Corvette speed! Talk about something to die on, this thing was unreal. It makes like 130 hp. and 70 ft.-lbs. of torque.

For $5600 it beter be fast, but look at the Trinity ad in the same issue. They have a stroker kit that did the 1/8 asphalt drag in 6.7 sec @97mph, while the HiPer Tech turbo Banshee did hit 111mph, its ET was 7.02 sec.

Of course they (HiPer Tech IIc) did this with a nearly stock motor (Vito's pistons, and overdrive tranny, +8" swingarm, fuel injected).

If any of you Banshee guys have $5600 sitting around, they offer a money back guarantee.

Walt, if you see this you might want to give them a call before July, hehe.

Don't forget that 6.7 sec run was the 1/8 mile not the 1/4 mile.

I know. Here are the turbo Banshee ET/speeds, per DW...

1/8th asphalt: 7.02 sec@ 100mph
1/4th asphalt: 11.4 sec@ 111mph
300' sand: 4.28 sec@ 76mph

According to this, and Trinity's ad their 570cc stroker beat the HiPer turbo, in the 1/8 drag, for about $1700 less.

Blue; its not the one your thinking of. This is a turbo kit that bolts up to a stock cylinder.
And, I hope my original post was'nt taken as a shot at the HiPer Banshee, I'm sure it's a rocket. I just saw the trinity ad, which claimed faster ET's, in the same issue and wanted to hear from some Banshee guys. So far I guess not many peop's care for Trinity's kits?
