Well I finally tried out my plow and love it.

The only gripe I have is my cold blooded Wolverine. It takes forever to warm up so I can take it off full choke. I don't mind letting it run a bit higher, but it is impossible to take it out of reverse because the engine is loading the clutch.

I've heard this is a characteristic of Wolv's. Does anyone else share the same problems?

I was told that a dynojet kit would help with
this problem. Any Input/Suggs.

Thanks,

Musclford

You can give Micky Dunlap's Four-Stroke Tech a call. He sells manual clutch kits for a Wolverine. You can find his phone number in the back of most dirt wheels books.

Wolverines are definatly known for being cold blooded. My brother and I both have Wolverines, mine is a '96 with a Dynojet kit, and his is a stock '98. His is unbeleivably stubborn in the cold, and it takes forever to warm up. Mine is pretty bad in the cold too, but not nearly as bad as the stock bike. It could be the Dynojet kit, but I also have a K&N Filter, and a FMF Pipe, so it could be a combination of all that. Even with all the extra goodies on it, mine still isn't great in the cold. If the bike is off for even 15 minutes, you have to choke it to start it, and when the choke is out, I have a hell of a time trying to get it into gear.

I tried my plow on a little bit of snow, really haven't had that one real good winter storm yet. However, the plow worked great, I usually let the choke stay on for about 10 minutes with it idiling and it usually works good from there.

I would suggest dropping the main jet 1 size, leaner will give you more power and run warmer. ! jet size will not hurt anything in cold conditions.
