wolverine valve settings

does anyone know the valve clearance settings for the wolverine and how to set the valves i've had it back to the dealer 3 times in 2 months to have them set.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question... just another question of my own.
How do you know your valves need to be set? Do they get noisy? Less power? My bike is a '96, but I've only had it for a few months, so I don't know if they've ever been set.

Make sure the engine is cold when you set them. Intake: 0.06mm-0.10mm (.0024-.0039 in)
Exhaust 0.16mm-0.20mm (.0063-.0079 in)
This info is out of my Wolverine service manual. I usually check mine every 30 hrs or so.
By the way, make sure the piston is @ TDC on compression stroke when adjusting.

Something you might want to do if you ride in dusty conditions.
Look at your crank vent hose, notice it is not filtered, dirt will find its way into the engine, cost me $$$$. I now have a short hose and a crank filter that wire ties to the frame. Cheap insurance
