I was wondering what i can do to make my blaster really fast, that isn't a ton of money. Also what are some good parts that make it run and look good.

Since you already have a pipe and silencer, you should look into getting a reed spacer. Then you could get your motor ported.. or bored. Just about any graphics kit will make a quad look better... But they're pretty expensive.

Out of all these, I suggest the reed spacer. Boyesen makes a good one, and I have a Hy-Tech on my R.. It seems to be pretty good.

Get a vito's 240cc big bore kit. it comes with everything you need including the high compression piston, sleeve, rings, and gaskets. it is only $250.00 and the sleeve is already ported. it sounds like a really good deal and should give you plenty of power.

I would buy a Boyeson Rad Valve. I have one and there is a noticable gain from it. It gives you more overrev in 3-6 gears.

The RAD valve really works better on higher CC engines. For lower tech, compression, and cubic centimeter engines, reed spacers do better.

Yamahagye, the Vito kit is only $250??? I was thinking more. I would get that if I were you!

I'm sitting here looking at a dirtwheels ad from vito. it says "BIG BORE KIT includes super stock piston kit, topend gasket set, and performance ported sleeve. Labor not included. $249.95" The piston alone is supposed to give you 5HP midrange through topend. the 240 kit should give you around 9-10 more Hp, maybe even more, if i had to guess. the price is almost too good to be true.

I found a Boyesen Rad Valve dyno test. The results aren't very good according to this dyno.
Check the follwing link for the test http://www.mobiledyno.com/sys-tmpl/s...&UID=10006

Don't waste your money on a rad valve. Just get a good set of reeds like boyesen or fmf and you will notice something differant. Also a reed spacer is cheap and adds quit a bit of low end torque. Hey you could always turn to alki and nitrous with a turbo?
