Anyone used the mudguards that extend the fenders out on the Wolverine? Do they work and do they hurt the integrety of the existing fenders............

i put them on my bike and it keeps a LOT of mud off a person. the fenders on the outer edges are drilled and attached with screws with lock nuts. the oem yamaha look a lot better than the aftermarket.

 

I bought them myself but didn't put them on due to the same reason about damaging the fenders. Also, I like to do alot of mudding and thought that I would get hung up on the front extensions cause they looked long.
I guess they would be o.k. if you didn't use your machine for any serious mudding at all.
