Hi guys. Last night and tonight here in Redding, CA. Our local Yammie shop held a benefit-fund raiser for the NYC WTC victims and firefighters. My wife, 4 year old son and myself all raced last night on our quads. My son, was the youngest and smallest kid out there. He has a E-ton 50, he was racing with LT-80s. My wife won first place in the womens quad class on her 400ex. And then I raced in my first ever race of anything and came in 2nd! I was racing with Banshees and Cannodales and Raptors and 250rs. The first moto I took the hole shot and led the first lap. The only guy who past me was on a way tricked out Banshee. He had raced alot before. So, I came in 2nd. Second race, I was really tired and beat. Keep in mind I'm 21 years old 6'3" tall and weigh 230 lbs. I was 4th into the first corner. By the end, the C-dale and a 250r collided and I was able to pass them to take 2nd again. I tell you what, that Raptor kicked butt. I was pretty impressed. When the C-dale and 250r crashed, it completely crushed one of the C-dales rear wheels. He couldn't even drive it back to the pits. Because of the theme of the race I decided to make my quad stand out a little above the rest. Check out my pics and you'll see what I came up with. I still would like to do a little more on the rear fenders some how. Let me know what you think. I dont' think the pictures do it justice. It looks better in person. I just moved from Redding two years ago and visit there regularly. Where was the race at? I used to race my motorcycle at Anderson Fairgrouds. I used to also race my go-kart there and Red Bluff.

 

The race was held at the Anderson Fairgrounds. They haven't raced there for a few years. Hopefully, if all went well, they'll have more races. It was pretty cool. I will definately race again.
