What heat temp rating is required for the radiator/coolant hoses on a Raptor? I saw clear marine hoses with a 150 degree rating which I don't think would be enough.

the coolant fan on the raptor kicks on at 214 degrees.id think they would need to be able to stand at least 225 just to be safe..nothing like hot watter scalding youre leg.

Pick here THis link is for the clear hoses for the DS650. You could call or e-mail team alba inquiring about the clear hoses for the Raptor. The clear hoses and some blue food coloring would look too cool.

Blue,

Be careful with clear hoses get reinforced and replace them every season regardless. They tend to fail especially the hose from the waterpump to the cylinder. I suspect that hose fails because of the heat from the exhaust if it is too close.

Clear hoses look pretty cool. I have them on my tecate and it matches great with the green fluid. Looks like alba sells the dye with the kit.
