They are not unstable due to their low center of gravity design. Although any atv can lift the wheels of the ground, I've not noticed any such tendancy on the kodiac.

I recently purchased a 2000 Kodiac. First let me say that it is a very impressive machine. Both looks and performance. I did however notice what I called a tendancy to dive its front end when entering hard corners. upon closer inspection I found that the front tires were a little low on air and the shocks were at thier softest setting. After adjusting these little items the machine handels great. Also in my opinion stock tires dont help. Thats why I had new Mud Sharks mounted up. If you want opinions go for the Kodiac its a real nice machine Plus the auto trans. makes riding a real pleasure.
