Whats up man, I dont have my 02 yet, but I know for a fact if you want to ride something real slow you can. That is a fact. If you want to go real slow a badger or a raptor 80 would be better to suit you.

the raptor is a 4 stroke and they can be riden slow its they 2 stroke that
needs the r's up or they will load up or fowl plugs.

Yeah, one advantage of a four stroke is that you don't have to stay "on" them all the time like with a two stroke. Two strokes tend to foul plugs if you putt around on them but shouldn't be a problem on a four stroke.

You can putt along at 5 mph (idle speed) all day if you want to on the Raptor. Touch the throttle though and it rips immediately, no hesitation. The perfect quad, for me anyway.

When I ride with newbies and small tykes, I stick to first gear and can ride for hours. I did switch the front sproket to a 12-tooth and this made 1st a little better. My '01 2nd gear was too fast for slow riding until I made the change as well. Warriors work good for slow speed too. Only the two-strokes like the banshee need high revs.
