Hey guys. I have been looking for a new set of handlebars for the raptor. I like the Pro Taper's, but not sure which "Bend" to buy? Anybody have any suggestions? Or maybe there is a better set of bars? Thanks!

The Moose alum. bars are $30.00 cheaper than the Renthals. They are made in the same building! Same bar.You just don't get the "Renthal" type crossbar mounts and a pad.

The "CR-HI" bend works well on all models that I've seen. It is the most popular bend sold for both bikes and quads.

Hey sonic. The lowering kit is from Durablue. It basically drops the front end 1-2" by moving the top shock mount up another inch. You can't run the stock lights and the stock shocks bottom out on big jumps. Its a very cheap way to considerably improve the handling, but the stock shocks just aren't up to the task. My new Elka's are on there way, they should be here tomorrow and I will be removing the lowering kit.

Thanks for the reply. I seen the Durablues(pic)and didn't think they would work on the Raptor. I'm planing to replace my stock front shocks soon, probably next summer, but was thinking of a way to lower for ice racing this winter. I'm sure the stockers will work fine lowered (save the high-dollar ones for summer) with the rear linkage flipped and I'll be tearing up the ice (sooner than I'll know here in Michigan). How much did you pay? Thanks again.

Because I purchase my bars from the same vendor in wholesale quanitys.
Same box: Answer, Renthal, Moose, O'neal. The Renthal "regular" bars are the EXACT same thing as the moose except with the "bend #" stamped on it. The Renthal "thick walls" are different, of course, but still come from the same place. Italy.

There may be another plant in England, or maybe the brackets are, or hell, maybe just the stupid hang tags! LOL

I don't have the box with me, nor could I spell it correctly even if I remembered. LOL
