Hi, anyone know which 240 kit is better for the blaster.
Thanks

I have never ridden a vito's 240 kit nor trinitys, but I have a CT 240 kit in my blaster. It has a very powerful bottomend and midrange, which is great for hill climbing and any type of recreational riding. Top end is also a lot better, but I like the kit more for its low end torque. I have some pics of the kit on my web page plus a whole lot more photos of aftermarket parts. Before you rush into buying a 240 kit you should hold off for a while. In a previous Dirtwheels or 4wheelATV not sure which, they mentioned CT is working on a 240 cylinder and head for the blaster. It will still be air cooled, but it will have a better intake design and porting than the stock blaster cylinder. It will probably produce more HP too. You can contact CT and find out when it will be availabel. It will probably cost you a little more money, but you will still have a stock cylinder and head assembly that you can put on if you want to race in the blaster class. Any questions feel free to ask.

If I were you I would buy the one I'm buying CT's Ultimate 240 Kit It's suppose to produce 40HP.

I'd go with the Vito's kit. the last 5 years CT hasn't exactly been impressing people with their cookie cutter port jobs, while Vito puts tons of research and development into his pistons and engines.

LOL, If you put 40 HP in a blaster, you are going to need to get an extended swing arm and widen it also. Why put 40 HP in a blaster when you could buy a better handling, more powerful, more reliable quad (250r) for the same amount of money. In MY opinion, it is a waste of money.

i would go with vito i have ran his parts in my quad and never had a problem and always happy with the performance gain.Vito tends to be yamaha orientented more so than ct who tends to be more honda-jack

I have a piece of crap 250R already but I've never really work on it I just have it for people who comeover to ride.

maybe you should fix the R and leave the Blaster for the buddies that come over to ride. No offense to Blaster owners, but an R is in a class of its own.

If your 250r is a peice of crap then I will buy it off you. I dream of having a 250r. If you ever feel the need then jsut send it my way. haha

I was wrong don't buy the CT Kit I was at Vito's today and he let me look at his Blaster he had a new prototype 240 kit on it. He said in about 2-5 weeks it will be for sale for 597. It's suppose to be real light and when you get it it's ready to bolt on. I'm sorry Curtis just sold my R for 2000 and I'm gettin a new one.
