Maxxis Razor or GBC Shredder tires for my Raptor???
#3
Dirt wheels did a tire shootout a few issues back and they rated both of those tires good for all terrains. I myself run a set of Shredders on the Zilla and I like em, they hold their shape at high speeds. I don't think you would do bad with either tire.

I run shredders on everything I own. I had em on the banshee I just sold, they are on my 250R (310) and I am probably going to put them on the R I just picked up. They are a great tire and they hold up well to all kinds of off road abuse. The only down fall is the front tire sizing, no 22x7x10's, only 21x7 (which are a little small) and 22x 8 which are too fat, and 23x7x10's which I have on my machine. They are pretty good for desert/dunes/ cross country, but a little lacking on the moto-x.
My buddy runs the razors and he likes them, but it looks like they wear a little faster. He has a 400 ex and doesn't spin as much as I do and they still look like they wear faster. Here is a tip for everybody in the market for tires. Discount Tire sells GBC and Maxxis brands very cheap. I buy all my tires there. 114 bucks for a set of rear Shredders. You do have to order them, but it takes less than a week.
