I'm not sure what you mean by your question. If you are working with a FRONT differential, use the GM Friction Modifier that they sell for the limited slip truck rear ends. 1 oz. will do it. Better steering and better performance in the mud.
I haven't heard of anyone using it, but I think that Hi-Lifter also has an additive similar to the GM.
As far as the rear end goes, you will be just fine with a 80W90 Hy-Poid gear oil, and it doesn't have to be any particular brand. Any will do. STP,Valvoline, etc.
