roostinonyou and hurycne came into our forum talking trash about their modded ds650. An e-mail later we went ridding at my track. The results were not as they expected, and the Raptor was victorious. We had a blast and look forward to riding with them again. (It's always easier to ride with someone that is slower than you are.) Have a good day. I did. See you tomorrow! Your Right Brother !!! I have smoked every DS at rocky ridge accept a turbo charged one.There was no catchen him !!! Ill have to come out to aledo to ride the track.Let me know if you need any help to finish it....

You have a mx100? My friend just bought one .. I'm not positive if its a mx100 though .. its got a plastic tank .. and a nitrogen charged shock with some kind of rear linkage.
Its a fairy big bike for a 100..

Yes day one did go to the Raptor...one Raptor the rest fell by the wayside. So I far as that goes I was 3-1 today thanks guys![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

yes but those 2 raptors are BONE stock with nada,zilch. I don't believe that they were but a few feet behind. That is kind of like a 5 grader picking on a first grader. Why i heard you fire up those full exhaust, ron woods cdi, jet kits etc, i was having doubts that i could make mr. yamaguci proud. I had only run 1 ds before (we never see them) and it was having a bad day.

 

Looks like we should have round two today in Aledo with the dDS'. Will post later on results. There is one Raptor left that has not raced, I will take it with me today and see what it does.

Well I can say round two went to Roostin. After a gear change his quad was able to take all the rest. I dont think he got to line up against the 'Super Raptor' as the owner (14min) was busy all day.

 

More of round two at Aledo that was left out. The real winner was a bone stock 01 Raptor right out of storage. The first race it even took 14mins and the ds' were close but no cigars for them either. There were a few more races and the results were the same so I put it back up on the trailer. Wish it would have had a pipe, air box and jetting to really take all doupt out of the question of what kicks A$$. I am amazed at how stock Raptors were performing against the DS. The DS' were fast and when they got out of the hole good the races were closer. We could have run all night but we could not see the finish line so we decided we would continue this subject next weekend. The fun never stops. BRING ON THE YELLOW. I think I will go to a 14 39 set up on the stocker to see if there is enought pasture to top it out. To be serious the DS' did real good, won a few and have a sound you can hear a long way off with the pipes they had. We look forward to get out soon and running again. The fun that was had cannot be bought. LOOKIN for some hot banshees to join the fun, We are gluttins for punishment and love it.

 

Hey Hurycne was 14mins so far ahead of you that you did not know he was there or what? I have a lot of video that shows you pulling up the rear long behind the rest. Roostin was doing good to hold up the rep of the DS but you did not give very much support when it it cam down to the finish line. Maybe next week you will have the bugs worked out. Roostin did have some good races with geared down Raptors but the stocker or 14mins took the wins when all got a good start.
