I ordered a Trial Tech computer from Rocky Mountain ATV today and I was wandering how hard it is to install. Does anyone have any pointers?

 

Not hard at all
just don't over tighten
the senor by the wheel

 

It is critical that you be careful when attaching the cable to the upper A-arm that you leave enough slack between the sending unit and the A-arm to allow for full suspension travel. When I did my first install it was too tight and the cable pulled out of the sending unit while getting big air. This was two days before a week long trip to the dunes, no time for a replacement.

I just ordered one myself and understand the directions from Trail Tech are pretty straight forward.

Also, I found a website that gives some pointers on installation and some pics as well. You can see it here.

 

Does anyone have a picture of one of these installed (preferrably on a warrior, but anything will do?

de i still havnt gotten the pix takenn. yet.. what part of the install do u want to see? way i mounted computer? or what.. i need to knwo if i need to take the wheel off and ill get the pix asap

 

Yeah, I've been waiting on you. hahaha. I just want to see how it looks mounted on the handlebar. Not really a close up, just a general view of it.

ok.. well i dont have it mounted on the handle bar.. u really cant with stock bars on.. i have mine mounted on the dash thing.. the plastic thing..but i put screws under my dash thing. to give it more tilt to see it better.. im going out to take a few.

 

just got doen taking the pics and they are on my page.. so when ever the moderatiors apporve it.. there ya go.. should be here in a lil bit.. hope they help need ne more speciic pics let me know and ill see wat i can do
