First off I'm not brand loyal to any manufacturer. Rode a 00 DS650 that a guy was trying to sell for about 20 minutes. I don't know what's all the bragging about the DS650, but my Raptor drives like a dream compared to his 00DS650. The steering felt like it needed repairs and there was grease on the inner hub of the front rim. After doing a couple of runs with a small jump it felt scary & I handed him his machine back. When I punch the throttle on my Raptor that baby goes...but the 00DS650 didn't even come close. I didn't get past 2nd gear & maybe there was some kind of excitement thereafter, I guess I'll never know. I'm not bashing the 00DS650, but only giving my true experience with this bike, so to anyone who owns a 00DS650 please don't take this as an insult.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] One more thing, not only is the choke lever in a very odd place it was very...cold blooded!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]
