I have a problem here. i dont cant make up my mind about geting a 400ex or a banshee. i have sold my raptor and now i am saving up to get a banshee. but i have rode my friends 400 that has a pipe and some air filter mods and its pretty snoty. since i have rode it i have been thinking do i want the better trail machine the 400 or the spead machine the banshee. could you guys help me a little.

 

Sound's like you already had the best compromise between the two. Since I've had all three I'd say the Raptor was the best choice. You need to decide now whether you want an excellent woods machine(400EX) or an excellent dunes machine(Banshee). The 400EX, IMO, is a better all around bike than the Banshee. But, it takes loads of cash to make a 400EX run with a piped Banshee. I'm curious to why you sold your Raptor?

 

I sold my raptor because i didnt like it any more. a piped banshee gives me more of a thrill. i didnt like how the starter cluch would make a loud bang when you shut it off. I have wanted to get a new banshee for some time now and now i have the cash. I rode me friend 400 and liked it but it still didnt have the ***** that im looking for. Mabey i will by one some day.

 

two strokes are not alowed on many trails any more. id go with the 400ex. It is one of the best quads out there.
