After clutch fade and slippage my clutch stiffened. I put in a barnett clutch and drilled the clutch basket for lubrication but can barely pull in the clutch lever>> Tried adjusting but any way you go it is very stiff. Any help cant ride more than 5 minutes w/o a sore hand and arm.

Call barnett, you did say you just put in the basket. Did you drill in the wrong place (don't know how that would effect it, but it might)

Did you possibly damange the basket driling? try a hidson (not sure on spelling) they are about $250 and set up with the extra lubrication that your looking for. Good luck

Simple fix for the hole problem. Assemble the clutch pack one fiber and plate at a time until you get to the level of the hole that you added. At that point, grind off the plate tab that aligns in that grove so that it will not hit the hole. Repeat this for each of the holes that you added. This will eliminate any chance of the clutch hanging on the holes and save you from the cost of a new basket.
