Help! Raptor jetting question.
#1
I bought the GTY-R pipe and Dyna jet kit. Both make the Raptor fly!
My question is: When running in trails at a slower speed, my Raptor seems to choke and boog(spelling?) down. No power when I want it. After I get into the open and can work the throttle and get it flying again, they the Raptor is fine again and responsive.
Why is it so unresponsive when going slow for awhile? Dealer told me to move the clip up one notch on the needle. any thoughts?
Thanks for all the help!

What is your elevation level?
What is your airbox setup? - meaning factory setup / factory lid with holes (how big/howmany) / no lid at all?
What size main jets are you running now?
Sorry for the added questions but they are necessary to answer your question.

The Dynojet directions don't cover for airlid mods. You should go up at least one size on the mains from what they told you. I would start with the 148 & 150. If this doesn't work then back down to 146 & 148.
