I have an E series pipe on my Wolverine. The sound does'nt bother me, but I do do some night riding that could be a problem for some people. Does any know much about the quiet core insert for the E series? Is it worth the money? Thank you in advance.

I use one of those in my 400EX. I actually modified mine to flow better. What I did was knock out the three washers that are welded inside the perforated tube. Then I put it in the silencer with two regular e-series discs under it and ten discs on top of it. It seems to flow as well as it did without the quiet core but it still makes it quieter.

Well worth the money. I've got one on the Warrior, and it quiets it down some while still providing a noticable power boost.
