RAPTOR TRANNIES

Has anyone had any transmission problems out of there raptors I have one over here with a 01 with transmission gone.

yeah if i was u i would go buy the best i wouldn't buy a raptor go with the best honda

brianmihm, I see that your new here (15 posts), and I thought I'd let you know, that the usual brand-bashing type stuff doesn't go over well. If someone wants to buy a yamaha, good for them, a honda, good for them, polaris, good for them. They all have their problems, whether it be tranny's (raptor), bearings (400ex), or high maintainance (polaris). I know that your post may not have been meant that way, but somepeople may interperate it that way, causing a flame war. And, as many have seen, flaming is the downfall of most forum's.

yeah i have owned 3 honda's and i have had not one problem with none of them except the bearings which is none to wear out i will probably always buy honda

No problems out of mine, vin is over 24000 if there's any truth to the bad batch of gears rumor. Did have the clutch slip once, since I stopped using synthetic oil it hasnt done it again.
