680 or 686 raptor

My friend sent his motor to trinnity and got back a 680 or 686. I cant remember what he said anyway he's not sure on the jetting. What are you guys with this motor running for jetting at sea level??? He has the stock carbs and running 11 to 1 high com piston set of new cams and larger values...oh also aftermarket air filter and no lid on . Thanks of your help

He should just call Trinity. They built the motor and will know pretty much exactly what it will need.

I was just trying to help him out.He played with his jetting when we went riding but his raptor dose not seem to rev very good up on top end.I dont know if he called Trinity yet but i thought someone on this fourm would know!! I know there are some people running the same Trinity kit.

call trinity for the "ballpark" jetting in the meantime - then adjust for your altitude

I hope he is breaking it in properly also - just like new

Sorry for the vague answer, but I don't know what he would need specifically. From what you described, slow to rev up top, he needs to increase his main jet sizes. Try it one step at a time until it runs best.

I will tell him to jet up on the main jet and see how that works. Thanks alot for your help!
