OK, i have the pro-design kn filter, 2-1 inch uni-vents in lid, the flaps cut out of my snorkle. the stock head pipe has JET HOT coating and the stock silencer. my jetting is 150-155 mains and 25 pilots. the quad runs great with no noticable flat spots. but when i shut the thing off i get a little PUFF out the exhuast? not a backfire just a puff.
now if i had to guess without looking at the plug yet i would say i am a little rich?

what do you think?????? is that the cause of the PUFF

When mine was rich a time back, mine would still not have a puff out the exhaust upon shut-off. Have you adjusted/had adjusted your valves? Black puff.....clear puff? Is the baffle removed from the silencer?

 

no i have not adjusted the valves yet. and the silencer is still stock. as far as i can tell the puff is clean or clear. i have about 30 hours on it do you think its the valves?

With 30 hrs on the machine, you need to get the valves adjusted ASAP.
With the baffle still in the silencer, I suspect you are running way too rich. A full throttle plug check will confirm this.
On the PUFF, it's probably from an overly rich condition.....baffle probably needs cleaned too.
