I am about to purchase a Yoshimura full exhaust system. Not sure whether to get the comp or race series. The price diff is only $50 & not that big of a deal but I wanted to hear from those who have one or the other. The comp series is full stainless & the race series is also stainless but has a titanium silencer shell which apparently saves a pound or two. Stepping up to the full titanium Pro series saves about 4lbs & they claim titanium controls the heat better yielding a massive 1/2 hp improvemnent, big deal, costs an arm & leg too! Anyway, does anybody think the race series benefits any from making the silencer sleeve titanium?

Ok Ok, news flash, Yoshimura says they have phased out the Race series. However, the full titanium Pro series & the full stainless comp series remains. He said the Race series really only benefitted from a cosmetic improvement over the Comp series & was a good value but sales were low as the comp series is the workhorse. He said retail is $550 for the Comp series with spark arrestor/TEC kit pn#2387500-TEC.

i have a full race system on my Bike and its the sweetest system you have ever seen!!! The craftmanship is 150 times better than any other system..including white bros..which i had both the "e" and the "r". The titanium shell is beautiful and well it s much lighter than the other units as well. The power band is much different now also. More grunt all the way through to the top...

SWEET

I have the full comp Yoshi system intalled on my raptor. Aside from the fact that it now sounds
awesome, the performance is out of this world. The power curve is very smooth, and you can feel the hp increase all the way from bottom to top. I have only had the pipe on the bike for a month now, but so far havent been beaten in a drag. I race other modified 660's and they dont even challange....

Wow, I didn't know it was going to sound so good, I can't wait. I ordered the full comp system with sa & tec kit last night from Moto Joe, one of the few that seems to have any, he says he bought up most in the U.S. since the Dirt wheels article has helped to increase demand. Yoshimura says they are out of stock till feb.
