Buying a quad just in time to learn the factory has released a new model with all the problems fixed or improved.
Buying a used quad that was misrepresented by the seller and your stuck with the repairs.
Finding out the piece that you just broke is no longer available..

I hate when little punk kids have their fathers buy them a new Raptor, and the only quads they know about is a Raptor and an EX, then they see a 15 year old Quadzilla and laugh at it and say "No way that'll keep up with me. My 660's faster than a 500. Duh." But then I love embarrasing them so bad they wanna cry like the little b*thces they are....Latah.....

Everybody wanting to go ride while your motor is tore down for more power and you get stuck on the slowest bike out there.

Your friend finds out what you are doing and does more work (like he needed to)

Ward660R, Laurel Yamaha in Laurel, Mississippi was the #1 selling Yamaha ATV dealer in the country up till a year ago. They are known for outrageous bottom dollar prices on ATVs but have a very bad reputation for service after the sale.

I don't know about now, but they once TEN salesmen and TWO mechanics. It doesn't take much math to figure out they aren't going to be able to repair all the machines that they sell, nor do they plan to.

A dealer that operates like this is only worth buying from if you are from a long distance away from the dealer and don't plan to repeat dealings with them. [parts/service].

I would take your quad to another local dealer who has a capable and knowedgable staff throughout his store. You end up with better service across the board when you do.

spending a couple thousand on your engine and then having to bracket drag a 4x4 quad. with a 3 second spot in 300ft...you do the math.

Thanks, your right about the service dept, but now the only thing they have are parts changers. There aren't anymore shops around here. I don't always have time to do the work myself. There is one shop called All Pro Cycles that does really good work, but he stays very busy with performance jobs.
