I own a 99 Banshee with FMF pipe, Power Core II`s, Power Reeds, Boost bottle, Reed spacers, 260 Main jets. I have been running Yamalube 2R, but the price just went up,{over $10 per qt.}. Can anyone reccomend any other oils that are as good as the 2R? Also what mixing ratio is safe. I have been mixing at 24:1 as reccomended. It seems like I`m wasting alot of unburned oil.

Maxima 927 castor 32:1 for my 2000 Banshee. I'm running the same set up except boost bottle and reeds and spacers. Mine runs great. The Maxima 927 oil might be more expensive then the Yamaha but much better. I'm in AZ and pay $20.00 for a half gallon bottle.

I ran bel-ray MC-1 at about 24 to 1 at first in my '98.Then after talking to some shops(not dealers) I switched to bel-ray H1-R and dropped to 32 to 1. much cleaner burning and no problems in 2 seasons riding.

I have a 1989 Banshee and ran it on Golden Spectro (full synthetic) @ 52:1 (12oz to 5ga)for years and never had problems. I only recently started mixing @ 40:1 just to be a little more on the safe side.
